Using custom dns… having issues

I’ve pointed my nameservers to ns1.wordpress.com and ns2.wordpress.com however when I try to resolve flawk.to it’s coming back with a dns error. I’ve even gone as far as changing the SOA to you guys. Nada.

The server at flawk.to can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.
    Error code: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

    Hi there,

I see that you added the nameservers to your DNS Records; however, your current nameservers are still set to:

    ns-428.awsdns-53.com
    ns-870.awsdns-44.net

    Please change that to:

    • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

Then you should be set. I see that you also added a subdomain. If you want to map a subdomain you will need to add a CNAME record as seen here:

    Map a Subdomain

Let me know if you have any questions with this!
