Using custom image and Videopress

    With my site as it is now, can I insert anything such as a snippet from another want to put one change and do not know if I want to spend $30 for it. Also, this is about Videopress. I use You tube with no problems now. What is my advantage in purchasing Vidpress? Thanks

    It depends what you mean by a “snippet” – would you mind describing in a bit more what you’d like to insert? Is it code, and if so, what type of code is it?

    The Custom Design upgrade allows you to edit the site’s CSS code. It doesn’t allow you to add any PHP or JavaScript code, for example.

    Also, this is about Videopress. I use You tube with no problems now. What is my advantage in purchasing Vidpress?

    May folks are happy with a third-party video-embedding service like YouTube or Vimeo. Other folks don’t want their video hosted by a third party, and prefer to upload it directly to their WordPress site, and that’s what VideoPress is for. You can read more about
