using dashboard from another computer
-
When I log into wordpress from another computer (not my home computer) I am able to access the dashboard, but none of the information is updated. The blog stats are not updated and when I view the site it shows a theme that I last used weeks ago. Is there something that I need to do in order to manage my blog from a different computer?

Clear out your browser cache and check again. You could be looking at a cached version instead of the current one.

I’m using a Mac iBook and the Safari browser. I just emptied the cache on Safari and it didn’t solve the problem. I also have this same problem when I log in using a PC. Any other ideas?

I wonder if this is some weird asynchronicity between datacentres; WordPress has had that issue before. I would drop staff a feedback. This is beyond my volunteer skillz.

Thanks for trying. I’m on my home computer right now and now it’s happening on this computer as well!

Go to your Dashboard and up at the top right-hand side you’ll see the word FEEDBACK. When you use this it opens a message box that goes to the support staff, and it also includes all your specs so they know what system you’re talking to them from, etc.
