Using domain for another website

    Hello,

    I bought my domain through wordpress and would like to point to another site.
    Zenfolio tells me that I need to change the DNS records to this:

    The DNS settings should look like this:

    @ A 64.62.158.18
    www CNAME custom.zenfolio.com

    I went to store – domain- custom dns records but just not sure if I’m on the right track and what exactly I need to type into the box.

    Please help.

    The webpage I need help with is geniusatworkphotography.com

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    I went ahead and changed your DNS records for you, so your domain geniusatworkphotography.com is now pointed to Zenfolio.

    Please note that it can take 48-72 hours for DNS changes like this to take effect everywhere. If you still see your WordPress.com site when you visit your domain, you may need to wait a bit longer.

    I have another question for you, is it possible to create another subdomain within this one, and if so how would it be done? Would it cost more?

    Hi there,

    Yes you can do that, but it’s a bit tricky – the actual CNAME you will need to enter will differ depending on what sort of site or service you want to point your subdomain to. What are you hoping to use a subdomain for?
