Using Domain names on WordPress.com

  I am wondering if it is possible to use a community organisation’s Domain name …………org.au using the free WordPress.com software (hosted by WordPress.com), or will we have to change our name to …………wordpress.com, and somehow link the old name to it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello, the .org domain extension is available for WordPress.com domain registrations however .org.au is not.

  If you already have a domain using the .org.au extension then you can map that domain to a WordPress.com site using the domain mapping upgrade. Meaning you’ll connect the .org.au domain to the WordPress.com site so that you can manage it here.
