Using Expound theme

  I’m trying to set up a website using the Expound theme. I want the front page to look like the picture on the theme page with a large image and text at the top and 3 columns with image and text (linking to pages) beneath. I had hoped to make the front page static and then use another page to feature blogs. Is there a way to achieve this overall layout using pages (rather than posts) and keeping the content static?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
