using facebook widget

It successfully links to my facebook page WHILE prominently displaying an error code in the middle of my wordpress page that my facebook url is invalid! I’ve read your help pages and they are no help. I’ve done technical writing all my life and written computer manuals — and I cannot understand a word they are saying. MAYBE they should STOP trying to show off all the technical jargon they THINK they know, and just EXPLAIN things in simple clear language. Thanks.
