Using Go Daddy As A Host

I have my blog in two places, grumpymickey.wordpress.com and grumpymickey.com. The latter is hosted by godaddy. Unforunately I lose a lot of the functions I like, such as site stats which never seem to work with the jetpack option. I did not pay to transfer my site to godaddy I just uploaded the latest version of wordpress to my host and started playing around with it. I notice that WordPress.com offers a package for $3.99/month that autoinstalls wordpress. My question is will I have all the same widgets I have on my wordpress site that I have on my godaddy site if I pay this fee?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Where do you see that please?

There are in-house widgets that are only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Those are NOT included in the self hosted WordPress.org installs.

I saw it here next to the Godaddy part. http://get.wp.com/hosting/

I know for a fact from my own experience that the in-house WordPress.com widgets are not included in the widgets on self hosted WordPress.org installs. WordPress.org installs have only the basic widgets and not the specially designed for WordPress.com widgets. Therefore, no blog host can provide them to those who host their sites with them.

That is a basic Godaddy quick install thing – has nothing to do with WordPress other than it installs WordPress.ORG for you – WordPress.ORG has offered their famouns 5 minute install for many years – my old host had that option and it was free with my basic hosting package.

WordPress does offer the JetPac plug-in for WordPress.ORG installs to give you a few more functions and a stats package.

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply to both of you. I installed wordpress on my godaddy for free and I have jetpack installed but it doesn’t work at all when it comes to stats. For days now I have gotten nothing from it. It says stats not available and I have searched wordpress.org for answers and there are not any good ones there. In fact many people seem to be having the same problem.
