Using Google AdSense
-
Hi!
I’m trying to get Google AdSense on my blog, and it’s telling me to insert code in between the <head> tags, but I don’t see those tags anywhere… I tried just copying the code into the sidebar, but it’s not being recognized. I’m not super familiar with html, but have done some minimal coding before with C++ and such, so I feel like I would at least know how to look! Apparently not though. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated!

Hi zensalutations
Your site is using WordPress.org software which is hosted on another host so WordPress.com forum is not the right place to get the solution for your question. You can post your question in WordPress.org forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/#new-postFor more information here is the support documentation link below:
https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress.com forum helps the sites hosted on WordPress.com only
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are both different platforms, you can find more information for this here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/As you are using WordPress.org software so you can try using Google AdSense Plugins that will help you adding Google Ads to your website post, pages, and sidebar. For more information on this please refer to below page:

You’d have to contact Google Adsense, to see if they can fix this issue. Additionally, I apologize but you are using the wrong forum center. You need to know the difference between WordPress.com, and WordPress.org, because they aren’t the same forums. Each have different but some same features. If you still don’t understand, read on.
You are on WordPress.com Forums, when you would need to be on WordPress.org forums, for this request, as this is for hosted sites, and not for “self” hosted sites under their own hosts.
Basically, they have they have the same name, but the difference is .org, and .com, and have different options in each. Also, WordPress.com, is where everything is done for you, and WordPress.org, where you are able to manage your servers, etc.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
I have some links that may be useful:
— WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
— WordPress.org Forums
— WordPress.org Support Site
We’re so sorry we couldn’t assist you further, and wish you success on your site. The Google Adsense Support Link can be found here. Thanks!
