using google analytics
-
I just started a blog called The Theory of 3 Personality Types. It has a link to another blog of my co-writer (www.wakefielddoctrine.com) which has google analytics active. I guess my question is can I set up a separate analytics account for just my new blog? I’m able to get a tracking code but it is not reporting any data. Can anyone help me out with this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please note that Google Analytics cannot be used on wordpress.COm free hosted blogs.
See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info
and here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
We have wordpress.com stats and we can have third party stats visitor tracking programs provided they are NOT JavaScript. -

No. There is no upgrade your can purchase for a free hosted wordpress.com blog that enables you to use Google Analytics. All upgrades here are specific and this notice ought to be heeded.
Before Upgrading – Important Notes
Same Rules Apply – The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes or plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and you will still be required to abide by our Terms of Service. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/Your alternative is to hire a web host and get a free software install from wordpress.org and self-host your own blog. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
