  I see the cost for the domain is $18. Does a free me come with this service? Thanks

  Hey mrey770,

  Are you asking if you can get a free domain name with the free WordPress.com plan?

  If so, you get a sub-domain with WordPress.com as an extension to it. To get a custom domain, you need to have an upgraded plan.

  Each plan comes with a free custom domain name.

  Hi mrey770 – With regards to your question at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/using-google-domain-2/ regarding email, WordPressdotcom does not provide full email services. You can however set up 5 email forwarding accounts under the Personal and Premium plans. Here’s more on that https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/
