Using image from library as header image

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I was changing the theme of my blog and the header image I used disappeared in the change.
Is there any way I can use the images I in the media library? I don’t see why I should download the image to my computer just to upload it again to my blog..

    Hope for some answers! :)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The header image uplaoder provides a “browse” and “upload” function. It does not provide the option of entering a URL it an image in your Media Library.

Each theme has a specific header size, so I’m not surprised that a theme change resulted in “loss” of the header sized to fit a different theme.

For the Vigilance theme which is appearing on the blog linked to your username the header images of exactly 920 × 180 pixels will be used as-is. What I would do is prepare an image of the exact size specifications required and upload it using the browse and upload functions for header images in the header image uploader. Then I would enter the Media Library and delete the other header image.

I’ve been trying to upload a new header image, and no matter how many times I try, it keeps telling me that my image is “empty” and to try again.

Funny, but this is the same image I was using for my previous theme. I’m getting a bit irritated about the whole thing.
