Using images not in media library
-
Is it possible to use images from Google+ photos (or other photo storing sites) in WordPress?
I get a ‘The file could not be uploaded because the file type is not supported.’ error when attempting to use a image from a saved URL, but it doesn’t explain if I can/cannot use such images.
Thanks for your help!

Hey, David!
Yeah, it’s possible to add a Google+ Photo to your content but, instead of adding it through Add via URL, you’ll need to insert it on your HTML tab like this:

That’s so bizarre! Don’t ask why I didn’t attempt to use the source link. I guess I figured the ‘share’ URL would suffice.
Big thank you for responding to this!
