Using LaTeX in my blog

  Hi, I’m trying to use LaTeX in my blog to post mathematical equations, and I’m running into issues. I saw on the wordpress site I could use $latex your-latex-code-here$ (https://en.support.wordpress.com/latex/). However, when I try $latex atimes10^n$ I’m having no luck.

  Are you getting any error messages? Can you let me know where on the site you’ve tried to use the LaTeX shortcode and I’ll take a closer look at the formatting. Thanks!

  I’m not receiving any error messages.

  It is actually on this site that I’ve tried it – https://simplifyphysicsblog.wordpress.com/category/math-review/

  I’ve changed it now to use mathurl with a PNG image, however I had previously tried to use LaTeX shortcode.

  In the textbox, I had typed $latex atimes10^n$ which did not properly format and so I’ve replaced it with that mathurl image.

  Please try to add the LaTeX shortcodes from the classic, wp-admin dashboard. https://simplifyphysicsblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ Let me know if this works.

  Hello,
  I have exactly the same problem that heinrichschliemann has. I’ve tried using LaTeX from the wp-admin dashboard but it doesn’t get formatted at all.

  Can you please provide a link to a post where you’ve added LaTeX code that’s not displaying properly so we can take a look? We can’t troubleshoot a problem if we cannot see it.

  Khem… I’ve just realised that I’ve pasted and later tried to edit your LaTeX example when it was written as a bold text and not formatted correctly. It was marked as inside the $ $ part. I’ve just noticed this. It’s all right now. Thanks for help xD
