Using Live Writer templates for WordPress blogs
-
Is there a way for me to set up a template so that when I want to post to my blog I can just call up the template — fonts, pictures, etc. — write the post and publish without having to recreate the template each time?

There’s actually a useful-ish tool provided in your wordpress.com editing area for using a previous post as a template. (You didn’t leave a URL, so I can’t tell what your blog is or whether you are on wp.com or not. You can access the option to associate your user name with your blog in Users>Personal Settings.)
If you are wp.com, look at your screen options in the editing window and make sure that “writing helper” is checked. If it is, then somewhere below your editing text box, you should see “Copy a Post – use an existing post as a template.”

@cwbillow
I checked your other threads and cannot locate a link to your blog in them. I read them all and it appears you may not be referring to a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.com on their servers. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpress-themes-10?replies=14To be clear we support only free blogs being free hosted by WordPress.com on this forum. If you are referring to a blog that you are hosting on your own server or a blog that’s being hosted by any we host other than WordPress.com then you are posting to the wrong support forum. If that’s the case you must post here > http://wordpress.org/sypport/
Please read this for clarity. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
