Using Micro Kids related posts plug in suddenly not working

  Have been using Micro Kids related posts plug in, you can manually select relevant posts, suddenly stopped working, I looked up this plug in author, wrote and explained prolem, I see it’s not been supported by wp for 2 years and his last couple of questions also not resloved, can you suggest another easy to use plug in that will allow me to manually select my own posts or explain how I can fix problem?
