Using my blog with GoDaddy Domain

  Hi there

  I have a domain with GoDaddy

  and I have a wordpress blog.

  How do I use my GoDaddy domain for my wordpress blog?

  Is it best to get hosted with GoDaddy? Do I even need to do that?

  Doesn’t wordpress automatically host it for me?

  I am a complete novice. What’s the best option.

  No. wordpress.COM only free hosted the free blogs they provide, and those who choose to purchase an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/ and here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  So you are clear on the differences between free blogs being free hosted by wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG installs see also > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  I used this site to guide me on the GoDaddy side of things, in case anyway has the same problem
