Using my domain as a server address?

    Hello,
    I run a Minecraft server and have a wordpress site dedicated to being our primary webpage.

    I am wondering is I can use the domain I purchased on WordPress as my domain for the Minecraft IP.

    Basically, I am trying to remove the standard means of connecting to my server: my Ip address. Instead, I would like people to enter “www.mc2minecraft.com” as their way or connecting to the server.

    Is this at all possible??
