Using my own domain

  Hello, I’m new in using WordPress. I’ve made a very simple site with wordpress.com and I own my own domain, which I would like to use instead of the xxxx.wordress.com .

  I can only redirect my domain to the xxxx.wordpress.com url. Otherwise, seemps I need to pay 99 $ for the Premium plan. Is that alright? Can’t I make my own domain the ‘primary’ direction without paying so much? Maybe a Personal plan?

  Howdy grupwalden!
  All the Paid Plans
  give you a Credit for a Domain, you can either Register a domain or Map your domain, as you already have a Domain you can simply use this guide to Map your Existing Domain , You can use this guide to map it with your domain.
  You have to first buy any Paid plan you can go to http://www.wordpress.com/plans , buy a Plan and then you can use the above guide to Map your Domain, also to inform you need not have a Premium plan if you just need a Custom Domain feature, it is available in a Personal Plan as well, if you need additional features like CSS and others with Business plans you can choose as per you requirement.
