Using my own domain

  I have my own domain, however its newly registered so I can’t transfer it for 60 days. Can I just use a generic name ie.wordpress.com and start posting and developing content then in 60 days transfer in my own domain without any issues? Basically, keeping all content and still using wordpress, but just with my own domain?

  Hi there,

  You can absolutely do that. You can also map the domain which you have purchased somewhere else and then transfer it to WordPress.com after the 60 days. Have a look at the documentation on how to map the domain in the link below. Be aware that mapping is available on a paid plan on WordPress.com.
