using name of deleted site

  I deleted a wordpress site as i couldn’t change the name to the blog’s theme, now I want to add a new site using that bloc’s theme and it keeps saying it’s taken! Help

  Hello,
  Unfortunately, that blog can’t be reused, even though you were the one who originally created and deleted it. It’s the policy of WordPress.com not to allow blog names to be reused: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can create a new blog using a variation of the original name, though.

  In the future, I suggest emptying your blog if you want a fresh start. That way you can still keep using the same blog name, just with new content: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
