Using Office365 email
-
I currently use Google to host the email for my WordPress.com domain, but I want to change to Office365. However, both Microsoft and WordPress.com require that they be my domain name’s nameservers, which is impossible.
I want WordPress to host my website and Microsoft to host my email. What do I do?

Hi there,
I reviewed the help article which you provided and I was unable to find any MX records. It does indeed seem like they require full Nameserver direction in order for you to use Microsoft’s Office365 email solution.
We do not provide any means other than Nameserver resolution as well. You may want to reach out to their help center and see if there are some MX (Mail Exchange) records which you can use to direct your email to their servers, as this method of directing email is very strange.
Please let me know what you find out!

Hiya,
I actually found on this page:
http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-smallbusinesses/ff637561.aspx
A paragraph that indicates that you should be able to keep your DNS with us, which means that everything should be able to work, however they don’t provide any additional information. If you could please reach out to them, they should be able to provide the MX records you need!
