Using other domain name and email

    Hi, WordPress.com is able to support the mapping of the domain name from an existing domain name that i have bought previously from a webhosting company –http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

    However, the support team of the webhosting are informing that if i point the DNS of the existing domain name to wordpress, my existing email will be defunct.

    below are the instructions from my webhost support team

    Thus after pointing the DNS to WordPress’s server, you would need to updated the MX record from WordPress’s end in order to point the mailserver back to W3HUB.

    To do so, i would advice you to contact WordPress before doing any MX record updates.

    What does it mean? And how should i set up my email after i set up my wordpress with my existing domain?
