using pages for multiple topics

    Is there a way to create multiple pages- I seem to have done so- and then post different blog topics in each one; so nI can segregate business bloggings from personal topics- as people may wish to follow or subscribe via rss to one and not the other.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Pages that you create are for “static” content and sit outside the blog structure. There is only one “blog” page for posts, and that is the main blog page.

    You can organize your posts by using categories, and then your visitors can click on the category names to get lists of posts in only that particular category. You can, if you want to further control your visitor’s experience, create a static front page and put links to the various categories in the body of the static front page.

    Another possibility is to use each Page as a group of related links for your separate topics. Your theme may list Pages prominently above the blog’s header, which would be ideal. If your theme doesn’t do that, you can use a Pages widget. Then, as SacredPath suggests, use a static front page to explain how things are organized. Or just use it as a normal blog.

    I am trying to do this with Category Page and Frontpage Exclude Categories but “Category Page” requires template tweaking if you don’t use their [catlist=XX] which just list entry headings.

    I do use a static “Front Page” (Settings –> Reading) and a second page for posts. However, give me a freaking break – I want to put different posts on different pages. Is that really asking way too much?

    Is reading the forum stickies asking way too much before you post over and over…in the wrong forum?
