USing php forms?
-
Apologies for what may prove to be a basic question … I have a website that I’m looking to transfer to WordPress. The site has a couple of simple form pages which uses php to generate an email alert – one of the pages is here …
http://www.oncloudseven.com/hcss/ticketorder.htm
My question is – can I replicate the same page in WordPress? And if so, where and how would I store the php file that the html calls?
Cheers, MRS
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but that’s not possible. We cannot access the PHP files for wordpress.COM blogs let alone edit them as wordpress.com is a mult-user blogging pltform. I encourage you to read this entry very carefully so tour are clear on the differences between free blogs being free hosted on this multiuser blogging platform by wordpress.com, and free standing software installs from wordpress.org for self hosting.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/The only form we can use here are the contact form that wordpress.com provides. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/ These are the restricted codes that the software will strip out to provide security on this multi-user blogging platform.
