Using plugins for .com sites

  Hello!

  I am really keen to use the wordpress plug-ins now my blog has got some traction. I would like to know how I can use the plug-ins by keeping my blog URL as http://www.talesofatrufflepig.com ? I have no idea about hosting or anything. I am not tech savvy and I have read a few forums but nothing has made it any clearer for me. I would really like some help.

  You can’t.

  Plugins are for WP.org blogs, not WP.com blogs.

  If you tell us specifically what you want to accomplish (not just “Add plugins”) we can usually suggest a workaround.

  I want to move my blog to a .org but perhaps redirect people to my blog is they continue to use .com URL.

  Is that possible?

  You just need to export your wp.com content and import it on your wp.org blog and then change your nameservers so the domain points to your new site, not your wp.com one.
