Using premium theme 'Puzzle' on a wordpress.org site

  I bought the premium theme ‘Puzzle’ to use on a wordpress.com site, however I discovered that it wasn’t as customizable as I wanted it to be so I need a wordpress.org site. Setting up the wordpress.org site on my hosting is fine however I want to use the ‘Puzzle’ theme that I’ve already bought on my wordpress.org site. Is this possible and how do I go about it?

  Hello,

  Premium Themes that are licensed for WordPress.com use only cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites. Some Automattic-developed premium themes can be transferred to a self-hosted site at no charge, as part of a Guided Transfer. Please post in the premium theme forums if you’d like to know whether your theme qualifies.

  While moving to a self-hosted site has its advantages (and drawbacks), I’d also recommend exploring whether your Custom Design upgrade — which includes Custom CSS — might not allow you to accomplish all your desired customization. If you have CSS-specific questions, you can post them to the CSS Customization forum.
