Using Publicize to post to Google publicly

    I started using Publicize, but once connected to my Google+ account it only shares it to my circles (aka Privately) and not publicly. How do I change that. Couldn’t find an appropriate edit button. Thank you!

    Howdy,

    To change this setting, you’ll need to disconnect from Google+ via the Settings->Sharing page, then reconnect.

    When you reconnect, you’re taken to a Google page to confirm that you want WordPress.com to access your Google+ profile/page. On that step, “Public” should be selected.

    Google will only allow WordPress.com to publish at the “highest level” allowed, as indicated in that point in the process. You’ll still be able to select a “lower level” (individuals, circles, etc), as well as Public.
