Using several pages on my homepage

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi guys,

I’m trying to get my 4 pages to appear on my homepage, however I can only seem to add content to my homepage via the blog post option which I don’t want to do. Can you perhaps help me? I just want the 4 pages to appear in an order on twiggapp.co without visitors having to navigate to the menu.

In other words, a long scrolling view is what I’m after.

    Many thanks,
    Tom

    Hi there!

It sounds like you want to set up a static front page. You can make your site direct to a specific page through Settings > Reading:

    https://twiggapp.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

Select “A static page” next to “Front page displays.” And then select your page from the “Front page” drop down menu.

You can also create a page like “Blog” and set that as your recent posts page.

You can read more about setting your Front page here:

    Set the Homepage

Let me know if I can help with anything else!

    Hey,

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m aware of the static page but it will only allow me to select one page. I would like to have all 4 pages on my homepage. As I’m sure you know, the Hexa theme allows for several postings in an order and that’s what I’m looking to do. Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hi there!

There’s no way to display several pages on a single homepage like you’re describing. The pages you’re describing in the Hexa theme are actually posts.

You may be interested in one of our more business-oriented themes, which tend to offer home page templates with spaces for specific content, pages, or widgets. Here are a few that might do what you want:
