How can you include the above in your posts? I know this one :) works but how do you do “thumbs up”?
Is there a list somewhere of the which ones work on wordpress?

You can turn these on on this page => Dashboard => Options => Writing Options
Formatting: ____Convert emoticons like :-) and :-P to graphics on display
WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automaticallyMark the ____(see above) and click “Update Options” to save.

The smileys doesn`t work on my blog even if I have ticked the “convert emoticons like :-) …” – button.. It worked on my first post, but not in my second post.. What am I doing wrong??

what is your wp.com blog url? can you show us the exact post in which this is happening?

my url is http://www.famhelland.wordpress.com my blog is written in norwegian though, but it`s happening in the post which appears at the top of the page :)

that’s because you aren’t using the right symbol for the smiley. and also note that smileys only work in the post, not on post titles.
as for the smiley at the end of your top post, try editing then saving again. see the faq timethief has given above, maybe copy the exact keys used for the smiley, then save it. it should work (since it had worked on your previous post)…

m using the same symbols for the smileys as I did in my first post.. So I dont understand why its not working in this post then.. ? Weird.. :/ I tried editing it again too, and saving.. But it still isnt working.. :( Well, anyway, thanks for trying to help me :D -

But I am using those smileys in that list.. And it worked in my first post, but not in the second.. I tried both :) and :-) and :smile:, but none of them works.. In my first post I wrote :) and it worked.. It is just not working, and I cannot seem to figure out what I am doing wrong since it worked the first time.. :( Sorry if my english is bad.. :)

I want to blush. But there’s no blush smiley in the “what smilies can i use” list. is it poss for wordpress to add a blush there?
