Using special characters
-
My blog is in English, but I want to write names and short passages of text in Spanish. Is there a tool I can use to add accent marks and similar symbols?
Relatedly, I may want to add mathematical symbols, like Greek letters or exponents. Is there a tool to access those?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes! See the custom characters in Visual Editor: http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#custom-characters

For this, you can use the LaTeX feature: http://en.support.wordpress.com/latex/

Hi,
Thank you, but I don’t see a custom characters button anywhere in the visual editor. Where is it? Where do I look? -
The “omega” icon for the custom characters is located on row 2, which will be shown after you click the “toolbar toggle” icon. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2
