Using Squarespace and WordPress together and Domain Advice

  Hi,

  My current business website is designed using a Prophoto WordPress theme. Its currently designed to host my portfolio and blog. I just created a new website for my business using Squarespace in which I love and I would like to make that my new main site and convert the WordPress site into my blog. I own a Wedding Photo and Cinema Studio and I generate a decent amount of leads through search engines.

  I was wondering what would be the best way for me to transition my domain that I use for my WordPress site to Squarespace while still being able to preserve my SEO rankings as much as possible?

  Also, once I figure out the best way to transfer my domain to Squarespace, what would you guys recommend as a new domain for my WordPress site?

  e.g.
  Squarespace Site – http://www.mycustomdomain.com
  Wordpress – http://www.mycustomdomainblog.com, blog.mycustomdomain.com, etc?

  Well, the fact that http://www.andreostudio.com/ is a WordPress.ORG blog changes everything: you should ask in the WordPress.ORG forums for help with that version of the software. We cannot help you here.
