Using Tags

    I am not sure how to use these properly.

    For example, if I am optimizing my post for the keyword phrase: ‘how to keep your dog healthy’, would I set up the tag like that, or should I make it shorter?

    Some advice from anyone who is experienced with SEO would be very helpful!

    Don’t use that whole phrase. You’ll kill yourself SEO-wise and probably draw negative attention from staff as well, who look askance at SEO games in general.

    Use just the topics that relate directly to what your post is about. WP.com itself has enough juice you shouldn’t need any tricks like that to do very well. I helped someone set up a blog yesterday for an institute and by 2pm that same day the blog was the #1 hit on google for that institute’s name, outranking even posts about the institute on the UN’s site.
