Using tags to format comments

  When editing comments, I used to be able to insert formatting tags by highlighting the expression to be formatted and then clicking on b, i or similar. Now I have to insert formatting tags manually by typing or in full. Why is this happening?

  Hello @supernova. Yes, I can confirm I am using this option:

  If there is another option which would make it easier to insert formatting tags, I would be very grateful if you could let me know.

  Hi MikiRoma,

  You can also edit the comments from WP-Admin, where you’ll see the formatting buttons like before.
  To see that other view, you’ll want to turn on the Advanced Navigation in your Account Settings>Dashboard Appearance. Here’s more about that:
  https://wordpress.com/support/account-settings/#dashboard-appearance.

  Once you’ve done that, try adding this to your site’s address: wp-admin/edit-comments.php.
