Using the good old classic editor without plugin
-
Hello,I been able to use the good old classic editor using the following commands
in the URLSee below
Put /10147?set-editor=classic and delete block-editor
Recently this trick with I am very fond of using is gone and a single notification pop-up and said that the block editor is now the default editor.I dont really like the interface of the classic block, could someone suggest how to get back the classic editor WITHOUT a plugin and I using wordpress.com,not a self-hosted wordpress so I cannot download a previous version of wordpress to get the classic editor?
In addition to that, block editor is good but I think people should have the choice to choose between block editor and Classic editor.Would WordPress.com Staff try to make this absolutely wonderful classic editor be avaliable again please? -

The classic editor is still available, https://wordpress.com/support/editors/#classic-editor. By using the Classic Editor, you’ll be missing a lot of new features.

I want the classic editor, not the classic block in the block editor WITHOUT a plugin, thanks :)
I have read the article already in full that you have given me
https://wordpress.com/support/editors/#classic-editorI not into the embedding stuff that the block editor offers, just my personal taste. The Classic editor was just the most awesome editor I seen.I used Joolma,Drupal and WordPress for quite a long time and I just fell in love with the classic editor. The interface was solid and not so many dynamic elements and I was able to write smoothly with the classic editor

I am my previous answer wasnt terribly clear.
This is exactly what I needI want the Classic editor on the free plan of WordPress.com and without the installation of a plugin,NOT a classic block that the current block editor
has installed”.Its seems some accounts on wordpress used to get the button “Switch to Classic Editor” and some does not.Could someone install that button for me. -

Hi there, WPcom is retiring the Classic Editor in the MySite dashboard for the entire WPcom platform and if your site(s) now have the Block Editor as default at MySite, that “switch to Classic” is no longer available.
You can read more about the change in these blog posts >
Your choices now are the Classic Block in the MySite Block Editor or if you prefer not to use the Classic Block there, the original WP Classic Editor is available via the WP Admin dashboard of your site at c0oys.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
However, the Block Editor is easier to use than most people believe and has been greatly improved over the last couple of years. If your sites have already been switched to the Block Editor at MySite, you can try it out in a draft post and there’s a tutorial to get you started at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/
Post back here if you have any other questions.
