Using the HostGator domain in WordPress

  Good afternoon, I already have a domain on hostgator, I would like to use the domain there, here in wordpress, but every time I try to access the domain, I am being redirected to buy another domain from wordpress, and I already have one for hostgator. I would like help.

  To use your existing domain for your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to upgrade to one of our paid plans. Then you can either connect the domain here, or transfer it to us completely if you prefer. To see those options, don’t type your domain in the search box on the domains screen, but instead look for the option to use a domain you already own.
