Using the Insert More tag
-
I am confused when using this tag (Insert More tag).
I thought when I used this, what would be displayed would be MORE and then you could click on the MORE and read further. This is not happening when I preview my post.
How do I use this and am I using this correctly?

I am trying to write a post. I have not published it yet.
But my blog is:

This is the support documentation link to information and instructions for using “the more tag” to split post content. Do not insert it into any text withing block quotes. To customize the message, simply switch to the HTML editor as described add a space after <!–more, and turn it into something like this…
<!–more But wait, there’s more–>
See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/ -
And you won’t see it when previewing your post anyway. The more tag works when you’re viewing dynamic pages such as your main posts page or a category page.
