Using "the more tag" in MacJournal

    I wonder if anyone else might have this question. I normally use MacJournal 6.0 for writing my posts as I find the WP dashboard editor too small and distracting. I start writing in MacJournal and then upload the post to WP when it is more or less finished. I would like to start experimenting with the more tag but when I read the Support document, it said that inserting the more tag after writing the post could create formatting problems. Has anyone tried this? What kind of problems appeared? Thanks.
