How do I use the Hatch theme? I have downloaded it off wordpress but I don’t know how to use it on my site dreadnoughtstudio.wordpress.com. When I go to manage themes and search for Hatch, it doesn’t show up, yet it is shown on http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/. So how do I use this theme?

That’s WordPress.org theme and you cannot use it on a WordPress.com blog.
The only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs are found here > Appearance > Themes and there are 200 of them
see also > http://theme.wordpress.com/There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install plugins, upload third-party themes or edit templates or themes. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/There is no upgrade you can purchase from WordPress.com that changes anything stated here http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ and restated again here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/#important-notes-before-upgrading and restated again here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions
To use a third party theme you will have to hire a web host and set up a self hosted WordPress.org install.

WordPress.com users are restricted to the 200 or so themes available through the WordPress.com theme list only. It sounds like you found your theme through WordPress.org. Check out this document for the differences between .com and .org.

Hi there! Just a quick note to say we’ve just launched Hatch on WordPress.com. You can find it under Appearance -> Themes in your dashboard. Enjoy!
