Will you please be more descriptive? Exactly where do you get hung up? To see what post formats your theme supports, go to Posts -> Add New in the dashboard and look for the Format module on the right.
-
If you cannot locate the Format module then go to screen options. http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ The Screen Options pull down tab is located in the upper right corner of your Dashboard. Include the Posts and Page modules.

Can you post the URL of the post that’s not displaying in the correct format so that we can take a look? Thanks!

This was a post that I tried to format as a quote post but it just looks like the standard format to me. My blog is not my home page: does that have anything to do with my problem? http://nancytinariedits.wordpress.com/2012/10/24/a-writers-solitude-kafkas-words/
