Using Twenty eleven theme, removed Header image by mistake how to get back?

I’ve just started using wordpress.com and am using it like a website not a blog. Managed to remove header image by mistake and now have no header. How do I fix this? Also I had uploaded my own photo and was also trying to change the photos and get them to appear randomly which they weren’t doing – was just get one photo on each page. Any tips on how to fix this too please.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You may have to re-install the theme. For random photo, there is a plug-in for it but on WordPress.org. You can try this for WordPress.com.

Many thanks, makethea! I went back into the theme and customize and it’s let me upload the header again. Just going to see if can get the photos to rotate now.

As you found out, makethea’s reply was wrong: you just go to Appearance > Header (or Appearance > Customize > Header), select one of the available images, save.
The rotate option is found in Appearance > Header.

Thanks, justpi, going back into theme worked too. Have selected Random for the photos but find my photos don’t change as frequently as the WordPress ones did which rotated even when you stayed on one page. Still at least have a photo for each page now.

Neither your photos nor WP’s will rotate when you stay on one page, except if you refresh/reload the page.
