  Hi there,
  I already have a wordpress site built by someone else and can log in and make changes. But what would be the benefit of using a WP monthly subscription? New to this and just trying to manage things myself due to costs.

  You can see and compare features of the different plans (Free, Personal, Premium, Business and eCommerce) at https://wordpress.com/pricing.
  If you’ve looked at that and are still unsure, what features in particular do you want? (Custom domain name? Plugins? Monetisation?)

  I just wanted to add that although the subscriptions show the price per month, it is billed annually.
