Using WordPress as a business blog

    Our company blog is currently running on Medium, but I find their platform very annoying. I am looking at alternatives, including WordPress (which I have used a long time ago in a personal context).

    Some requirements:
    – I do not want to host this myself, as I don’t want to have to maintain it.
    – We use Google for our productivity tools, I do not want to maintain multiple accounts, so I would like to use Google for auth and restrict users to people within our domain, with editors pre-defined.
    – I don’t want to spend too long theming it, just want something simple in our colours for now with the logo in the right place.
    – I’d like to spend minimal time importing things from medium.

    Can you help me with the above points?

    No worries – sites are hosted here at WordPress.com and are hosted for free. We handle many of the back end features that you have to deal with on self-hosted sites, so should alleviate much of your work.

    Users on the site can log into WordPress.com using Google. Here is information on how to add users to the site:
