Using WordPress as a CMS for a non-WordPress site

  I have been forwarded a site from a graphic designer and the client wants to be able to use WordPress as a CMS. I was hoping there is some way to design the site as usual, but then use WordPress as a CMS for the external site (maybe log into the WordPress database and display the latest posts posted by the client).

  If this has been posted before I apologise, but I could not find the post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as this is the forum for the wordpress.COM free hosting service and it is highly unlikely that this service will work for you. It is too restricted I suspect for what you are going to want to do.
