Using WordPress on YOUR website as a News Section

Hey’lo everyone, just did a quick search to see if anyone else has this working, haven’t found what I’m looking for specificly.

So here’s the deal, I have a PHP website that has a header.php with a news section that I have to manually edit whenever I want to post news. Is there a way to have my wordpress news feed to display in this section so all I have to do is post the latest news in wordpress so my RSS readers and website readers all see the same thing. If possible that’s great, if not any sugestions on methods to keep them in sync? I’m also working with a phpBB forum system that I’d like to keep in sync with wordpress, but that’s less important as I’ll just copy and paste it there if no modules exist.
But ya anyway to post my wordpress updates on my PHP site would be great and appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ashka

Ashka – do you have access to a MySQL database on your hosting?

If you do you can download the WordPress software and get support for it over at http://www.wordpress.org. While the functionality is much the same as wp.com, the administration and setup is slightly different and we won’t be able to help you here.

If you don’t then you might be able to find an RSS aggregator that you can put on your hosting and pull the RSS feed from a wp.com blog. I don’t know what the ToS says about doing this though. Certainly the first option is much better for you.
