Using wordpress themes on other hosting sites

    Hello, I am not very familiar with WordPress. There is a theme here I would like to use for my website, does this mean I also must use WordPress’s hosting services? Can I purchase a premium theme and use it on a different webhost? Will there be ads built into the theme?
