Hey there,
Happy to help you with this.
It’s totally possible to migrate a site over to WordPress.com, and we have this plugin to automate the whole process: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcom-migration/.
fix my wordpress site that is hosted by iPage?
What issues are you currently facing? We’ll do our best to provide some advice and next steps on how to solve those.
Understandably, as the site is not hosted with WordPress.com, we’re unable to look under the hood of the site (so to speak.)
Additionally, to note, in order to migrate the site over to WordPress.com, a WordPress.com Business plan would need to be in place:
Looking forward to hearing more about the issues faced and detailing how we may be able to fix them!

Hi,
Thanks for responding to my question.
I clearly did not phrase the question correctly. My website was created using WordPress, and still being “managed” by the WordPress “app”? on the iPage host site. The issue is that there is an error coming up when anyone tries to goto the URL, which is: drakkarindustries.biz relating to something in the pages.
Fatal error: ‘break’ not in the ‘loop’ or ‘switch’ context in /hermes/bosnacweb05/bosnacweb05bd/b2800/ipg.drakkarindustries/wp-content/plugins/dm-user-tracking-plugin/php_includes/visual.php on line 389
When I try to go into the page through the WordPress app [for lack of a better name] within the iPage site I get the same error and can not edit the pages to find the error and I don’t know how to go into the actual WordPress file to edit it from there.
What I was hoping I could do is manage it from the WordPress site, or find someone who may know how to get in to the files to correct the error. Thanks for the help.
George

Hi there,
To clarify, we’re the official “managed” version of WordPress, so we support sites that are hosted directly with us. However, other providers like iPage use the free “open source” version of WordPress, which is different under the hood. For example, we do not show errors of that kind due to the way our managed hosting is set up, which was my first clue that you may have WordPress through another provider.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move with just a few clicks.
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. Prerequisites The Move to WordPress.com plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. Jetpack version 7.9 or higher activated on the self-hosted site. All incompatible plugins deactivated on the self-hosted site. ✅ ThUnfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues (they use the same version of WordPress that iPage offers) and are in the best position to help you resolve this error message. Thanks!

Thank you for your help. I was able to find out that the issue was with a plug-in that iPage was able to disable (after talking to 2 different techs) to fix the issue.
