Using WordPress with a domain from G Suite

    Hello! I registered my domain with G Suite and have been hosting a site on a platform called Carbonmade. I am hoping to have my site on WordPress going forward and will be setting up a new design, pages, etc. but don’t know how to start. It seems that WordPress is prompting me to transfer my domain otherwise I am unable to start a site? If I could have some assistance, that would be great! Thank you!

    Hello!

    You don’t need to transfer your domain to set up a site on WordPress.com. You can create a free or paid account now, and deal with the domain later.

    When your WordPress.com website is ready to go live, you can either transfer your domain or use a domain mapping upgrade.

    If you let us know where you are getting stuck as far as creating an account, we can provide more specific guidance on completing the process. Sometimes the choice you want is present, but less obvious than the options that require a payment.
