using wordpress.com domain with squarespace account

    Hi,
    I now have a blog with squarespace and want to use the domain I purchased through wordpress with it. I’m not sure of the jargon ( is it mapping? changing the registrar?)
    I basically want someone to put my domain in and get my squarespace blog

    If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

    I contacted Squarespace and their tech guy said that it’s not possible as they don’t have a nameserver I can use at present.
    I’d have to change the DNS record. Can one of your people help with this? He suggested pointing the domain to go Daddy and then from goDaddy to squarespace. before I try and do this, can you please confirm that there isn’t a way to get my WordPress purchased domain to work with my Squarespace blog? many thanks
