Using WP plugin code on non-WP sites?

    Hello — I apologize if this top exists already and I was unable to find it. That said, I found a bit of code on a WP site that looks like I could just copy/paste it into any HTML page and have it work. But maybe I’m missing something? It’s the Sociable Zyblog Edition plugin. I thought this might be a good short cut to use in a gadget I’m playing with.

    Any wisdom or suggestions about how to go about this?
